In short
Two outings land on the same day this month: the monthly bus trip to SeaQuest in Layton leaves at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, and the book club meets at the Syracuse Library that afternoon from 2 to 3 p.m. April 16 at noon is also the RSVP cutoff for the lunch and bingo on Wednesday, April 24. Reservations for the trip ($15) and the lunch ($3) both go through the Community Center front desk at 801-614-9660, option #1.
Dates and deadlines
- April 16 Bus trip to SeaQuest Layton, bus leaves 9:45 a.m., $15 per person, reserve by calling 801-614-9660 option #1
- April 16 Book club, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Syracuse Library
- April 16, 12 noon RSVP deadline for the April 24 lunch and bingo; after that, wait list only
- April 24 Seniors lunch and bingo, noon, bingo at 12:30 p.m., $3 per person
Everything else
- Drop-in activities continue at the Community Center: Think Tuesday games every Tuesday at 10 a.m., where you can bring your own game and a friend
- Senior yoga runs Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m. for ages 50+ at $2.00 or 60+ at $0.50, free with a Community Center membership. The class works on strength, balance, and mobility
- Pickleball runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, $2.00 for adults or $0.50 for seniors 60+, free with a Community Center membership
