In short
Two November outings need a phone call: the bus trip to Maddox for lunch on November 12, and the Thanksgiving lunch with bingo on November 26, which costs $3 and must be reserved by noon on November 19. Book club meets November 19 at the Syracuse Library. December’s lunch and bingo shifts to Monday, December 23 with a Christmas menu. All reservations go through the Community Center at 801-614-9660, option #1.
Dates and deadlines
- Tuesday, November 12 Bus trip to Maddox for lunch; the bus leaves at 10:45. Call the front desk to reserve.
- Tuesday, November 19, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Book club at the Syracuse Library.
- Tuesday, November 19, 12 noon Last call to RSVP for the November 26 lunch and bingo.
- Tuesday, November 26 Seniors lunch and bingo. Thanksgiving dinner served at noon, bingo around 12:20 to 12:30, $3 per person.
- Monday, December 23 December’s lunch and bingo, with a Christmas menu.
Everything else
- Ongoing drop-in activities continue at the Community Center: Think Tuesday games Tuesdays at 10 a.m., senior yoga Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m., and pickleball Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Yoga and pickleball are $2.00 for ages 50+ (yoga) or adults (pickleball) and $0.50 for ages 60+, free with a Community Center membership.
