Everything else
- No watering on Sunday anywhere in the city. Antelope Drive and 2000 West split the city into four zones: Northwest has no watering Sunday or Tuesday, Northeast no watering Sunday or Wednesday, Southwest no watering Sunday or Thursday, and Southeast no watering Sunday or Friday.
- Daytime watering is prohibited from 10 AM to 6 PM to reduce evaporation. Do not let excess water pool onto neighboring properties, streets, or storm drains.
- Keep grass clippings and granular fertilizer off streets, sidewalks, and driveways, where they wash into storm drains. Sweep or blow the excess back into the grass. Clippings carry phosphorus and fertilizer carries nitrogen, both major water pollutants, and material left in the curb, gutter, or street can bring a fine. If you hire a lawn care company, make sure it leaves the area clean.
- Weber Basin Water offers free classes and rebates for new yards and landscapes, sprinkler controller upgrades, and converting to water-efficient landscaping.
- Several road maintenance and improvement projects begin this spring across the city. Slow down near work sites, watch for workers and equipment, and follow posted signs and detours.
