Snow and streets

  • Street parking is prohibited anytime it is snowing, and parking violations are enforced whether or not it is snowing. Cars need a designated space off the street that does not block sidewalks.
  • Clear snow and ice from your sidewalk within 24 hours after each storm ends, and do not push cleared snow back into the road.
  • The full Public Works update also covers fall gutter clean-up and green waste recycling. Public Works monthly update.

Utilities and waste

  • Recycling stays on an every-other-week schedule in 2026. The 2026 collection schedule is available on the recycling page.
  • Residents can sign up for a green waste cart for weeds, grass, leaves, branches, clean wood, and produce. Carts are collected weekly on your regular trash day and taken to the Davis Landfill for wood chips and compost. In winter the cart can double as a regular household waste bin.

Recreation

  • Adult Pickleball League at the Community Center is $25 and open to skill levels 3.0 to 3.5, with two registration sessions.
  • Fitness classes at $3 drop-in or a 10-time punch pass for $20: Step It Up at 9 AM Mondays and Fridays, Pump it Up at 9 AM Tuesdays. Hand weights and exercise balls are provided for Pump it Up; bring your own mat. Fitness classes.

Seniors

  • Senior activities this month include a quilt guild sew-in, book club, a Downton Abbey finale watch party, and Thanksgiving lunch with bingo, plus a December 17 bus trip to Maddox and the Willard Bay Christmas lights.
