In short
Syracuse City is marking the nation’s 250th anniversary with four activities that run now through Heritage Days, June 13 to 20, 2026. Two of them need sign-ups by June 12: the Youth Brigade that leads the parade on June 20, and the five-person Freedom Run Relay on Family Night, June 19. Two more are drop-in at the Syracuse Regional Museum and end June 19: a 13-item scavenger hunt and the 1776 Challenge. A limited number of commemorative pins are available for each activity completed. Details are on the city’s America250 page.
